I was told today that we have to start using the Vallar Server under Games Campus, there are Vallar Rooms 1--2--3 and the Lobby under the top room. This is called Games Campus.

Go to http://www.ventrilo.com/dlprod.php?id=1

Once there you will see this:

You will be downloading the following product:
Ventrilo Client
Windows i386 - 32bit - Win2000, XP, 2003, Vista, 2008
(Version 3.0.5)

Click: I Agree


1. You will get a File Download Popup window:
Click Run

2. Another popup will show the download process.

3. Once this is finished another popup will appear asking do you want to run.
This is the install of Ventrillo


You will get an Icon on your desktop saying Ventrillo. Click the icon and the Client will open on your desktop.


At this point you are ready to setup Ventrillo

You will fill in the spaces at the top with
User Name: put your name here. Please include "NPE" after your username to distinguish you from other guild. Thanks
Server: Games Campus
IP: voice.gamescampus.hypernia.com
Port: 5644
Bindings: NONE


Now you should have the Ventrillo Server up and running on your desktop.
Go to SETUP

Check Marks should be in these spots :
Enable outgoing voice communications
Use Push to talk Hotkey
This is the key stroke you will use when your talking. You click on the appropriate key and then click OK.

You should be good to go. One other piece of information. You are able to control the volume of each person in the channel. To access this, you right click on the persons name , click Miscellanious, then special effects, Then highlight volume and click Add, This will give you a popup with a volume control slide.
